WHY: Variable Pricing, is a federally funded study to evaluate the effect of reducing the tolls during selected off-peak hours in an effort to persuade people to drive at times other than the peak hours. The desired outcome of this study is a reduction of peak period traffic congestion. This release of data is the first of three planned data evaluations during the course of the Variable Pricing Study.
